Scholarly and academic work is premised upon principles of ethics and integrity where new ideas may be propounded based upon referral to previous schools of thoughts and the reconfirmation of previous ideas.   TVET colleges are centers of knowledge creation established to produce high quality graduates with high standards of ethics and professionalism. The proliferation of information and rapid rise in student enrollments at TVET colleges has instigated a lot of discussions around issues of plagiarism at universities and colleges. 


USA welcomes False Bay TVET College Students for an academic year

False Bay TVET College community will bid farewell to two very deserving students participating in the 2016-2017 Community College Initiative (CCI) Program.  Educare N6 Students, Thabisa Gajana (29) a resident of Khayelitsha and Nadia Boonzaaier (26) from Mitchells Plain will depart for Arizona and Pennsylvania to participate in this vocational exchange study program for one academic year starting this year July, at a community college in the United States.

When they were their children’s age, television had just arrived in South Africa. No microwave oven, no fax machine, no personal computer, no mobile phone. Not even a Star Trek fan then could have imagined the internet.


Provincial Top Achievers for 2015

Cape Town, 26 May 2016. The Department of Higher Education and Training acknowledged the Western Cape TVET Colleges top achievers at an exclusive ceremony hosted by False Bay TVET College at its Fish Hoek campus on 25 May.
The annual event brought together the principals of the six Western Cape public TVET colleges, academic staff, government officials, special guests and students to celebrate the success of the 32 students who received achievement awards. 


A celebration of excellence - False Bay TVET College Diploma and Awards Ceremony

Cape Town, 31 May 2016. False Bay TVET College acknowledges its top achievers at the annual Awards and Diploma Ceremony held at Muizenberg Civic Centre.

The annual occurrence brings together the proud parents, academic staff, sponsors and students to celebrate the success of the top performing students in each qualification programme offered at False Bay TVET College.  A total of 79 awards were presented and through the generous sponsorship of Cape Book and College Suppliers, prizes were given to exiting level students.
