Returning Students

False Bay TVET College has migrated to a new online Student Information System.

Returning students will therefore be required to register online in 2021.

Bursary applications will only be done via a booking system to ensure COVID compliance. Campuses will make contact with students in regards to this.

Students who were registered for National Certificated Vocational (NCV), NATED Engineering or NATED Business Studies at False Bay TVET College in 2020 and were not in an exit level i.e. NCV Level 4, or N3 Eng or N6 Eng/Business Studies will receive registration communication via SMS which will include the following:

  • Student login name to the Student Portal
  • Password
  • Link to the Student Portal

Please note that most of the communication with students will be done via email. It is therefore most important that each student has a valid email address. Please login to the Student Portal and update/insert your email address in the relevant field.

Students will receive further communication via email notifying them that their results have been posted in the Student Portal. The communication will also include an addendum which students need to complete and submit electronically via the portal together with their proof of payment or bursary office approval notice. Progression and NSFAS policy applies.

Once the above-mentioned documentation has been verified as correct by the College staff, a further email will be sent to students notifying them that their admission has been approved. Students are regarded as registered, at the College, once admission is approved. Processing of returning student applications will start on 18/01/2021.

Students can follow/view the process via the Student Portal and also communicate with the relevant campus.

It is important to note that due to COVID restrictions general access to the campuses is restricted to appointments only. Preferred communication will be via the telephone.
