Khayelitsha Campus

Ideally located between Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha in Mew Way, this campus is easily accessed and offers a wide variety of programmes.

The access-controlled campus has been refurbished and features a modern electrical and motors workshop, along with excellent teaching and quality sporting facilities. The Khayelitsha campus has been serving the community of Mitchell’s Plain and Khayelitsha for more than 10 years by equipping students with the necessary skills for employment.

As with each of the campuses, the management of False Bay TVET College has ensured a dedicated Student Support Officer to assist students during their transition from basic to higher education. A Financial Aid Administrator is available to assist with Bursary enquiries and applications.

Meet the Campus Manager

Mr MtetoMr Haido Mteto
Campus Manager- Khayelitsha Campus
With 10 years’ experience as a high school principal, Mr Mteto has entrenched himself as the False Bay TVET College, Khayelitsha Campus Head for 2 years now. Empathetic to socioeconomic challenges, Mr Mteto is actively involved in local community structures as Secretary of Khayelitsha Education Forum. He aimed at empowering young adults through education. Well known within the community he operates, it gives him great pride when learners go forth to become contributing members to society.
With a special knack for education and collaboration between the college and community, Mr Mteto is a strong advocate of the late Nelson Mandela quote “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
